Drew the artist

For Christmas, among numerous other gadgets and toys, Drew received a digital camera. This thing is indestructible - I'm pretty sure it's made of titanium, or the material that they make those airplane black boxes out of.
Drew has dropped it, kicked it, sat on it and, in one memorable instance, swung it around over his head and released it like a catapult, but it just keeps chugging along.
So, I thought I would share with you, my loyal four readers, who continue to check my blog hopefully day after day, wondering if this, in fact, will be the day that I get off my ass and actually post something other than a two-sentence snippet on Facebook...crap, I lost my train of thought...oh yes, Drew's pictures.

These are two of the best shots in a series that I like to call, "Blinding Daddy with Flash While He's Driving, Resulting in Cursing"

Continuing the vehicle theme, this one is called, "Mommy in Passenger Seat, So Happy She Doesn't Have to Drive While Charles is Home for Christmas."

I call this one, "Chair." Because that's what it is.

"Amy Breen's Driveway, with Random Feet."

"Mommy Up Close. Very Close."

"A Lonely Walgreen's at Sunset", alternatively titled, "Wal-Mart Moved in Next Door and Now Nobody's in My Parking Lot."

"Can I Take My Camera Into the Indian Restaurant? Pleeeeease?"

"Daddy in the Kitchen. Or Maybe That's Mommy. Who Cares, Really? I Have a Cool Camera!"

By the way, if you ever decide to toast a piece of pita bread in the toaster, and then you pull it out of the toaster and it's all puffed up? And you want to de-puff it so you can slice it? So you smush it with your hand?
Yeah, don't do that. Apparently, the puffiness is caused by steam. Which is really hot.

Yeah, that's one of those, "What was I thinking" moments. My hand hurts for you. Love Drew's pics. "Chair" is my favorite by far.

Yes, steam is hot, bad on skin... pain will inevitably follow...

Great pictures from Drew... he may have found his calling!

Hey! Is that the indian restaurant by me in Drew's photos? And you didn't call me to come get a mango lassie and some rogan josh chicken? Harr-umph.

Just kidding...kid's got a good eye!

That is in fact, the India Palace. And since we were there right after Christmas, I figured you would be busy, I don't know, planning a wedding or some such craziness.
Hey...I'm always up for Indian food though, so while you and Simon are in town, lemme know if you want to go out to dinner!

I won't have to kick you off my blog list afterall! ;-)

At least you didn't put your hand directly on a hot burner. Yea, not my finest moment.
